The difference between spring hinges and ordinary hinges Spring hinge installation
The difference between spring hinges and ordinary hinges is that the former can automatically close the door.
Ordinary hinges: used for cabinet doors, windows, doors, etc. Materials are iron, copper and stainless steel. The disadvantage of ordinary hinges is that they do not have the function of spring hinges. After installing the hinges, various beads must be installed, otherwise the wind will blow the door panels.
Spring hinge: It is mainly used for the connection of furniture door panels. It generally requires a thickness of 16 ~ 20mm. Materials are galvanized iron and zinc alloy. The spring hinge is equipped with an adjusting screw, which can adjust the height and thickness of the plate up and down and left and right. The main feature of the spring hinge is that it can match the opening angle of the cabinet door according to the space. In addition to the usual 90-degree angle, 127-degree, 144-degree, 165-degree, etc. have corresponding hinges to match, so that all kinds of cabinet doors have a corresponding degree of extension.
1. Use a 4mm hex spoon to insert it into the hole at one end, press it down firmly, and open the hinge at the same time.
2. Install the hinge with screws into the hollow grooves on the door leaf and the door frame.
3. Close the door leaf, make the spring hinge in the closed state, insert the hexagonal key again, without pressing down, turn it clockwise, and you can hear the sound of '噔 噔 噔 噔' four times of gear meshing. If more than four times, because the spring has been twisted to its limit, the spring will be damaged and the elasticity will be lost when the door leaf is opened.
4. After the hinge is tightened, the opening angle cannot exceed 180 degrees.
5. If you want to relax the hinge, just do the same as step 1.
